Honestly, removing makeup is one of the worst tasks to do at the end of the day. Couple that with needing sleep and having to tirelessly work through three or four products to completely cleanse my skin and you’ll understand why I jumped at the ad I saw for the ‘Face Halo’.
If you haven’t heard of the Face Halo, it is a small microfiber double-sided disc that, once wet with water, can remove all your makeup! It is reusable 200 times, can be washed in the machine to clean (or by hand with soap in between big washes). I purchased a pack of 3 for £18 from Beauty Bay, or you can get it from the Face Halo website.
The product gained a lot of traction from Youtuber Chloe Morello getting behind the product, but Jackie Aina’s video using it convinced me to buy it.

Personally, I looove this! It takes off my makeup in one swipe, in a gentle manner without drying out my skin or irritating it. I’ve taken a makeup wipe over my face after and not one trace of makeup is left. The speed is genuinely such a life saver, and it is a much cheaper alternative to makeup wipes and multiple cleansing products as well as being very environmentally friendly. In terms of its pocket-friendliness, I essentially have 600 makeup days cleansed for £18, whereas I usually use the Clinique Take The Day Off Balm which costs £24, coupled with makeup wipes, micellar water, and other cleansers.
So, obvs, I would 100% recommend! Let me know if you’ve tried this and it worked for you, or if I’ve convinced you!
