So you’re working out? Well done! You might be doing it for physical reasons, mental health reasons, or both. Either way, are you making sure your hair and skin are benefitting too? (Yah that takes the biscuit as the most cheesy intro I’ve done lol)
Long-time, no see! Now that I’m done with university and I have a bit more time on my hands, I hope to be doing some more blog posts, woo! My first post back is one that’s taken some time to get to do because I obvs only have one face and only moisturise twice a day. But, here’s my moisturiser low-down on what I’ve been using over the past few months and whether I think it’s oily-combo/acne-prone skin approved.
I have a new skincare fave! I’ve been loyally testing out the Pixi Glow Tonic since it hit Boots and, spoiler, I’m loving it.

Honestly, removing makeup is one of the worst tasks to do at the end of the day. Couple that with needing sleep and having to tirelessly work through three or four products to completely cleanse my skin and you’ll understand why I jumped at the ad I saw for the ‘Face Halo’.
Face masks are the ultimate pamper session must and I love to try different face masks all the time!
Below is a collection of my absolute favourite face masks that tackle different skin issues and are also at different price points.
Eek! My first proper post!
So, I thought I’d go for a classic, staple part of my daily routine which doesn’t have too many steps but is essential to keep my skin looking fresh.
A background on my skin type:
- Combination-to-oily skin
- Acne prone skin
- Sensitive skin
Skincare is obviously very important, and I find with my skin I really do need to take care of it before it goes crazy! Below, you’ll find a step by step breakdown of the products I use, how I use them and where you can get them yourself.
Hi and welcome to my brand new blog!
I’ll keep the intro short and sweet so I can dive straight into the good stuff of this blog.
Here you’ll find lots of reviews, looks, and tips I’ve picked up along the way about makeup and skin care from a 20-year-old brown girl at University with combination-to-oily skin!
